Ashley Shanks, MSW, APSW
Ashley is a clinical mental health care provider working with individuals ages 3 and up. Ashley works hands on with parents and families to collaborate and provide education along with providing care in other mental health areas.
Ashley obtained a Bachelors in Social Work from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2015 and her Master’s of Social Work from UW-Madison in 2021. She currently holds her APSW license and is working towards her LCSW.
Ashley has worked extensively with children and families over the past seven years. She has previous experience working with Lutheran Social Services and five and a half years in child welfare with Polk County. In her time at Polk County DHS she also worked as a service facilitator for CCS and CLTS services before coming to Caillier Clinic.
People describe Ashley as organized, patient, empathetic, and responsible. She lives with her partner and dog, Bella, in Barron County. Ashley enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and summer time. Her goal is to hike in all 50 states, and so far has crossed off Montana, Alaska, and Oklahoma.
