Chelsea Moyer, MA LPC-IT
Chelsea is a clinical mental health provider working with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults) as well as families and couples. Chelsea values collaboration with parents, families, and additional service providers to encourage comprehensive care, knowledge, and understanding. People who have worked with Chelsea describe her as being creative, dedicated, hard-working, funny, supportive, and detail oriented.
Chelsea received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 2016 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology and Juvenile Justice. Chelsea further pursued her education by obtaining a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University in May of 2022.
Chelsea has worked with Caillier Clinic for almost 6 years and has implemented all services offered by the clinic. This included skill development and enhancement services with children, adolescents, and adults with limitations/disabilities; parent-child-interaction and reunification therapy services which included parent psychoeducation; behavior management services with children, adolescents, and adults with limitations/disabilities.
Chelsea has been providing clinical mental health services with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults) as well as families and couples since June of 2021. She has experience working with clients relative to various issues including depression, anxiety, emotion management, stress, adverse life events, grief, family discord, and life changes. She utilizes interventions and techniques derived from various theoretical orientations such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and person centered therapy. Chelsea also has experience in targeting behavior management, resiliency building, and functional skills training.
Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks and being outdoors, watching documentaries and movies, exercising different mindfulness techniques, and making others laugh. Chelsea has a newfound interest in traveling and cooking new foods.
