Leighan Nand, BS
Leighan is the operations manager at Caillier Clinic. Leighan works with staff, community members, and individuals to provide further training, program development, and ensure appropriate treatment planning within our clinic.
Leighan completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Leighan has over 19 years of experience working with children with special needs, seven of which were spent specializing specifically in Applied Behavioral Analysis while treating Autism. This includes a 24/7 experience of being a mother of two children on the Autism spectrum.
Leighan has over 14 years of experience being a treatment foster care parent and has adopted four children from the foster system. In this experience she has had the opportunity to educate parents and work with children towards reunification with their birth parents. She is knowledgeable in the process of forming parent child relationships. Leighan also has experience with attachment disorders due to abuse and/or neglect. Her expertise comes not only from formal education, but also hands-on adoption experience.
Leighan’s genuine and personable style allows her to effectively work with individuals and families. She is an excellent provider that understands the support that is needed to promote positive change.
